PLM support
PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solutions mission is to provide a stable and reliable PLM environment for Epiroc. PLM 's mission is also to shorten the time to productivity, improve and follow-up business value and deliver right functionality with right quality for the PLM users. We also develop and provide effective training and efficient support. The main PLM applications are Teamcenter, Creo and AutoCAD Electrical and so far it covers both R&D and Production functionality and scope is growing.
PLM has grown a lot over the last couple of years and are still growing. You will therefore have the chance to influence how we should work within the support to become a global support and training provider. You will also build the global team. Today we have support hubs in 4 locations globally.
Job description
As a manager of PLM support you will build, manage and lead the global support team located in China, India, Sweden and US. Traveling will therefore be required to support sites, but also end-user sites. You will ensure efficiency and delivery capability of both support and training. The Support area also includes responsibility for: support for PLM Applications, frontend for all tickets except improvements, maintain training material and some extent develop and provide training to users. You are a leader and have responsibility of employees and consultants. You build relationships with PLM end user community in a globally environment and are a member in the PLM Solutions management team.
Experience & knowledge requirements
You have a University degree in engineering/IT or equivalent experience. Experience of working in a multi-cultural organization and have an understanding of cultural differences/challenges. We are looking for a leader who has experience of services such as support and/or training, proven manager experience and a change management. Fluent in English both oral and in writing is required since English is our primary language within Epiroc.
To succeed in this position you should be service minded, outgoing and communicative. You are a team relationship builder. An innovative pro change leader with drive and independence who together with your team will develop PLM support. As a good planner and organizer you will develop our organization with a high customer focus.
Preferred requirements
- Fluent in Swedish both oral and in writing
- Good knowledge of and interest in PLM domain
- Decent knowledge of the MR- business in its broadest sense or similar manufacturing business
- Knowledge of the Epiroc organization and processes in a broader way
- Experience of working abroad
