Line Manager, Support and Service Monitoring SWE

Support & Service Monitoring is a global function within WirelessCar that manages telematics support to our OEM customers.

Role mission & context

Support and Service Monitoring is responsible for the support and monitoring of all WirelessCar Solutions to our OEM customers. Support is available 24/7 globally.
The function works with continuous improvements.
We are now looking for a customer oriented Line Manager to lead and coordinate the local Support and Monitoring team in Sweden, Gothenburg. The Line Manager for Support and Service Monitoring is responsible for reaching defined targets by supporting the development and knowledge of the employees and creating an inspiring climate.
As a manager you will be part of the global Delivery Management team representing the function.
You will also work together with other parts of the WirelessCar organization to reach our common goals and also to be engaged in local customer dialogues

Key responsibilities
• Manage global/local customer support quality, performance and cost in line with contracts and SLAs
• Provide projects with suitable resources when needed
• Drive and Control the overall budget for the Support & Service Monitoring product
• Implement strategy as set in WirelessCar Management Team and Support & Service Monitoring Management Team including processes/working methods, structural changes and competence development plans
• Define and deliver results according to targets within own area of responsibility
• Follow up and report KPIs according to targets within own area of responsibility
• Local Line Manager (HR related issues) responsibility for Support & Service Monitoring SWE and Global Functional responsibility for Support & Service Monitoring

Personnel
• As a Manager in Support & Service Monitoring you need to work in good cooperation with all other Line managers in Support & Service Monitoring globally
• Support and develop the employees in own organization by setting clear goals and targets
• Actively secure planning and execution of training of employees for all new services
• Coach and evaluate performance of employees to help them reach their objectives
• Ensure that employees have supportive environments in which to perform their work
• Initiate and encourage development activities for the employees
• Salaries and recognition within company guidelines
• Communication of information to the employees

Financial responsibilities
• Responsible for budgets and production results
• Co-ordinate activities with other parts of the organization and external partners

Organization & Operational Excellence
• Establish guidelines for work
• Manage and follow up quality and security in the work and services delivered
• Support development of processes, other working methods and competence building

This position requires:
• Bachelor or Master degree and a broad IT background (Telematics background preferred) or equivalent skills obtained in other ways
• Leadership skills
• Understanding of profit and loss responsibility
• Prior experience in a global Support Organization
• Ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams
• Strong interest in people development
• Have capacity to execute against set targets and a "can do" attitude
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with the external partners
• Work in cooperation and supportive manner with managers in Support & Monitoring organization
• Organizational and execution skills
• Problem solving skills
• Global mindset
• Fluent in English
