To gain a better position and drive speed and efficiency, Seco Tools is merging the functions Production and Supply Chain into one new organization - Operations. One area within this new organization is Operations Support, consisting of Transport & Shipping, Customer Support, Supply Chain Planning and DC Coordination. The Supply Chain Planning team consisting of 15 employees in total is now looking for a business-minded Manager to lead the Supply Chain Planning department - someone who embraces change and, with a "doer's" attitude, takes the initiative and transforms new ideas into implemented solutions. The location for this position is Fagersta, Sweden.
Key performance areas
As Manager for Supply Chain Planning you have a key role in taking part in developing the strategic roadmap and ensuring optimal balance of short-term and long-term initiatives within your area of responsibility. A more complex environment puts new demands on supply chain planning, and you are responsible for preparing the organization for future challenges, which include building one team and creating commitment to new processes, systems and ways of working. You are responsible for demand planning, inventory planning and supply planning for all product areas connected to Seco Tools, including monitoring forecast accuracy, inventory levels and stock availability.
In this position, you report to the Director of Operations Support and are an active member of the Operations Support management team. Some international travel is a natural part of the job.

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic background who previously acted in a management position in supply chain or customer service where your good networking and communication skills made a difference. You have a proven track record of successfully developing people and you know your way around when it comes to directing change and enabling implementation. You also have the ability to understand the details and the larger context at the same time. Skills in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint are essential and, as we act in an international setting, your communication skills in English and Swedish must be great.
