hela Sverige In this position you will manage a global Strategic Sourcing team for Volvo Bus (VBC) systems and components.
Your team consists of 7 Sourcing buyers with global business responsibilities and located at different VBC sites
As a Sourcing manager you will be accountable for achieving the purchasing objectives in accordance with the global and regional needs. You will report to the Vice President, Strategic Purchasing and be a member of the Strategic Purchasing Management Team (SPMT).
Main Responsibilities
• Drive the development of sourcing strategies and supplier selections, secure global synergies and fulfil regional demands.
• Lead and develop the direct reports in your team
• Collect information about market dynamics and new technologies
• Manage the interactions with Engineering in the development of technical roadmaps, manage the cross-functional collaboration towards common goals
• Lead the work to negotiate and sign supplier agreements
• Validate sourcing cases to be presented in the defined sourcing decision bodies
• Manage the overall supplier relationships
• Appoint segment owners within the team and department
• Contribute to the overall team- and business development through the management team
• Work in accordance to the Global Purchasing processes and Volvo Group values

Required skills, experience and competencies
