We are now looking to expand the exciting area of Chassis system with a manager within the Chassis, Propulsion & Thermal organization!
Description
Chassis system is considered one of our highest priority area within the Powertrain & Chassis organization, highly focusing on Chassis systems for Electric Vehicle. Vehicle Dynamic's attribute and Simulation. All with the focus to combine an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well as user convenience.
As a Manager you will be responsible for a team of engineers, within Chassis Suspension, Power steering, Vehicle dynamic tuning, CAE on Component level and ADAMS simulation on Full Vehicle level. During the execution of this development, your team will heavily interact with neighboring teams within Powertrain & Chassis, Vehicle motions & controls and other departments within NEVS Technical Development, suppliers, and also R&D partners, often in an international setting.
Your position will complement existing skills and resources, and you will be reporting to the Director Chassis, Propulsion & Thermal.
The role involves:
• Lead, coordinate and inspire your teams in their daily work
• Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area of Chassis suspension, Power steering and Vehicle dynamics simulation and tuning.
• Supporting ongoing vehicle projects during the entire development phase
• Be responsible for verification and validation activities
• Be responsible for resource planning and prioritization
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience from developing Chassis systems and release high volume series production
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Driver license B

• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
• Have good communication skills
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
