Axis is seeking a highly motivated manager, aspiring in leadership and with a strong passion for content creation, reporting to the End-to-End Solutions Director at our HQ in Lund, Sweden.


WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
Our vision is to contribute to a smarter and safer world by providing market leading end-to-end (E2E) surveillance solutions. Our E2E solutions are built around our own video management solutions, AXIS Camera Station Edge and Pro, but the functionality extends beyond that.

The End-to-End Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis End-to-End Solutions for Surveillance. It manages the entire life cycle of our solutions - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go to market, and maintenance. End-to-End Solutions consists today of two teams, product management and product specialists. We are now expanding with a third team that will be focused on developing and sharing knowledge about our solutions with the rest of the Axis organization as well as externally.

Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering, sales support and professional services. This includes product, service and roadmap management for device capabilities, device management, software, analytics and end-to-end solutions. In addition, we offer the regions project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. End-to-End Solutions is one out of five groups within Solution Management.



WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The team members in Solution Knowledge Management collaborate extensively with various stakeholders, including product managers, product specialists, R&D teams in Lund and Linköping. They also work closely with sales, support and sales engineers all over the world as well as interacts with channel partners and end customers.

The team is responsible for equipping Axis' sales organization with the necessary knowledge to succeed with End-to-End Surveillance Solutions. As experts in these solutions, team members have four key responsibilities:

Develop content (trainings, videos, documents, etc.) about Axis E2E solutions and comparable market offerings

*

Share knowledge about Axis E2E solutions with regional sales and market organizations as well as partners, and end customers

*

Provide pre-sales information to sales engineers and partners developing integrations to our E2E solutions

*

Provide expert user feedback to product management, product specialists and R&D about how Axis E2E solutions are used

As team manager for Solution Knowledge Management, you'll balance content creation with leading a team of 4 skilled and motivated specialists. We believe that being active in the content creation yourself is important to drive an agile team being responsive to market and sales feedback. Key responsibilities as a manager are to make sure the team has the prerequisites to make a good job. This can for example be to make sure that the roles in the team are well defined, necessary tools are available, competence is developed, work environment is good, new team members are recruited etc. Additionally, you'll conduct performance reviews, set salaries, and work with the department director to ensure high service levels for regions, R&D, and product managers.

We travel to strengthen relations but focus on digital media to become efficient. Travelling up to 20 days a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you have a genuine interest in leading people and a team at the same time as you are part of the creation, guiding a very agile way of working close to the content consumers. You have a customer focus and understand your team's situation and needs. You find it easy to interact with people and between individuals and teams and can negotiate if needed. You combine the skill of listening with being decisive and getting things done. All with the ambition to get as much impact with the information consumers as possible.

You fulfill the following criteria:

At least 10 years work experience

*

Hands-on experience from video management solutions and network video recorders

*

Comfortable with creating video content with voice over using tools such as Camtasia

*

Excellent presentation skills

*

A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters

*

A few years of leadership experience, preferably as a manager in a technology centric organization or in a customer support organization.

*

To network and collaborate with other teams are a natural way of working for you

*

As person you are seen as positive and empathetic, combined with the ability negotiate and decide when needed.
