At Solutions Implementation we tailor our products to handle the client's specific resource optimization challenges. We are responsible for all activities around the configuration, software adaptation and delivery of our world-leading crew management products to our airlines customers. We are on a good way on our journey to adapt agile ways of working. We are now looking for a manager who will lead and inspire a team of developers and help us further improve how to implement our products. We think you will add a new dimension to our leadership team with your experience of software development and agile ways of working as well as drive for improvement. This is a great chance for the right person to play an important part in Jeppesen?s development.

Role description

• You will be leading a team of 10-15 software developers/analysts
• You will be responsible for some of our client delivery projects/teams which are day to day managed by a project manager. You engage with the clients and build relationships based on trust and respect, and ensure that the customer perspective is the driving force behind all activities
• You will be an important player in our leadership team and in the transformation into an agile organization
• You will report to Head of Implementation EMEA

Desired Profile

You should have passion for delivering value to customers. You have at least 8 years? experience from software development, preferably 2-5 years hands on experience working agile. You have the ability to engage, coach and inspire people around you. You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. We think you have been working some years in a manager position.

As a person you are strong-minded, goal-oriented and like development and change! You will chart the course, set high expectations, inspire others, find a way and deliver results!

Additional merits

• Experience of working with international clients
• Earlier experience as Line Manager
• Technical understanding of Java development, Python, Linux
