Your role
Command and Control West are growing and we are expanding our department with a section. This is a new position and you will be an active member in the management team together with three other section managers. You will be a part of our journey to grow and develop ways of working so that we can manage to deliver successfully and efficiently in our projects and product programs.
As a manager for Software Development, you will be responsible for the section in terms of projects deliveries, budget, employee wellbeing, strategic development, resource and competence planning. You will be Design responsible for parts of the Command and Control software subsystem and have line manager responsibility for approximately 15 employees.
The main task are:

Lead and coach your section towards agreed organizational goals and strategies

Resource planning
*
Develop common process and contribute to continuous improvements

Develop our agile ways of working

Design responsibility for products in your subsystem/s

Cross-domain, cross product and cross section collaborations
Your profile
We are looking for a person with passion to find the best ways of working and for continuous improvement. You have a strong belief in the competence and commitment from our employees and have a background within system development. You should know what it takes to develop the best software.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to demonstrate very strong collaboration-, leadership- and change management skills. You must have the ability to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives.
You are a good communicator, fluent in English, both verbally and in writing and have experience from coaching agile teams in complex environments. And very important, you make things happen.
Your personality is characterized by a coaching attitude and a prestigeless willingness to succeed at all times.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
You will be part of the development of command, control and communication systems for our radars used the ground base air domain. The department consists of approximately 62 employees and consultants and we plan to grow. We have the whole chain of competences from demand to delivery within our department.
Your section develop software and you will work closely together with the other managers in the management team and with other parts of the organisation where you contribute with your individual experience and strengths. Together we work closely in creating an engaging and including work environment with good communication, visualization and transparency.
