We are seeking out a Manager for our Software Development Department in Arcam's Product Development organization.
Arcam, a GE Additive company, is an innovative partner for manufacturing in the orthopedic implant and aerospace industries, where we deliver customer value through our competence and solution orientation. The Role
You will be responsible for two development teams, 15 people all together, who works cross functional with other exciting disciplines within R&D such as mechanics, electronics and process development. The teams consists of ambitious, problem-solving and competent developers who constantly improve and develop innovative technology together. Your main responsibility is to ensure that your department delivers as planned and stay updated on how the progress is moving forward on different departments within the company through collaboration.
You will be a part of the Technology Management Group and you will report to VP Product Development.
Responsibilities
• Budget responsibility
• Develop and improve the working methods and relevant processes as well as enable tools and IT system
• Resource management
• Performance reviews of the department employees
• Technical Responsible for software architecture
• For the software's that are developed for the Arcam EBM System

Profile
• Great interest in developing and leading people
• At least 5 years relevant experience within a product development organization
• Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies and continuous integration/delivery experience is desired
• Sc Computer science or equivalent experience
• Great English speaking/writing skills
• Experience of SAFe is a merit
