Are you ready to put your experience to use as Manager for Service Tendering and Sales Support at Hitachi Energy GPQSS Power Quality. Would you like to play a major role and have impact on the organization's reputation, objectives and future business? In this role, you'll join the Power Quality GCoC (Global Centre of Competence) and be responsible for the management of a team developing tenders for system upgrade projects and service level agreements system including technical and commercial responsibilities.
Power Quality (formerly known as FACTS) technology enables power systems owners to increase the capacity of their existing power systems while improving electrical stability at the same time. The result is that more electrical power can reach consumers with minimal environment impact after shorter project times and at lower investment costs. This pioneering technology is developed at the Grid & Power Quality Solutions unit in Västerås at our Global Centre of Competence and delivered to customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities
Support the global Power Quality organization to identify and develop opportunities to win Lifecycle Projects and Lifecycle Services orders
Collaborate globally with multiple stakeholders in Global Product Groups, HUBs/regions and local operation units as well as internally in GCoC.
Lead and develop the team of tendering and sales support people in their daily work
Plan and forecast tender pipeline and orders received
Review and approve tenders from a risk perspective
Adopt, support, and implement strategic initiatives
Evaluate and prioritize opportunities/tenders and delegate in the team
Together with GCoC Service management team develop the portfolio, productivity, and processes through continuous improvement

Your background
Experience from sales/tendering within system business, preferably with FACTS knowledge
You are a positive, social, result oriented and self-motivated person who wants to develop the business, the way of working as well as your team members
You are a cooperative and transparent team-player with a holistic perspective on what 's best for the company
You preferably hold a technical or business university degree
Superior knowledge in English is required, both written and spoken
