To strengthen our operational capabilities, we are merging our separate Project/Program Management Offices (PMO) into one corporate Seco PMO. We are now looking for an experienced manager to lead the new PMO, in a position where you work with an extensive and compelling portfolio composition. This is a great opportunity to gain insights and knowledge of our complete business.
In this position, you are located in Fagersta and you report to the VP Strategy and Innovation.
Key performance areas
As a Manager for PMO, you are responsible for the development and operation of the new PMO, ensuring sustainable performance in a modern manufacturing company. You work with a portfolio composed of cross functional projects and programs - ranging from from long-term strategic perspectives to the daily operational challenges -which you manage with a holistic, inclusive approach. You deliver valueby coaching and empowering your team of project managers to ensure timely deliverance, and you coordinate project portfolios across the company; defining methodology and delivering support and education in project, portfolio and change management.
In addition, you ensure that the PMO delivers value through monitoring portfolio status and health, recognizing emerging portfolio risks and acting on them. You establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop a performing PMO, being well connected inside the company while establishing and maintaining an outside in perspective.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with the ability to create teams where cooperation delivers results both within the own group as well as across functional and demographic borders. As such, you have a good understanding of the connection between delivery and group dynamics, and are used to creating results through motivation and coaching. You are an experienced leader with proven project and people management skills, and experience from managing a PMO is an advantage in this position. Since we work both locally and on a global stage, you have good skills in English and Swedish - both written and verbal.
