hela Sverige Do you have a strong interest in electronic development and experience from a professional electronic development process? Join us in the development of advanced electronics for HVDC's control and protection functions. We are responsible for the entire process - from initial idea to final product - including verification and validation at circuit board level. This results in circuit boards, with or without enclosures, which among other things includes that part of the functionality realized by FPGA's. As Office Manager, you will not only have budget responsibility and manage approximately 20 employees, you will also ensure efficiency, manage our competence pool and hire the right consultants. You will also get the ownership for the process linked to the circuit board development as well as responsibility for supply and maintenance of necessary tools.
You have extensive experience from developing and manufacturing electronics for complex systems. In other words, 15 to 20 years. To us, experience is far more important than a formal degree. However, if you have less experience and a Master's in engineering you could be right for this position too.
You probably have experience from leading others, but not necessarily from a position as manager. Preferably, you already work with electronic development in a leading position today. Additional experience from the automation or automotive industry, is qualifying. Fluency in English is required. You are a sympathetic, innovative and creative leader with ability to coach and develop your coworkers. Finally, you combine a strong quality focus with drive and initiative.
You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
