hela Sverige As a client-side Senior Quantity Surveyor, the role is that of financial guardian not only for an assigned scope within a program or project, but could extend across multiple scopes or projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide a mentorship role to lesser experienced Quantity Surveyors and provide support to the Quantity Surveying Manager, as required. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also report directly to the Quantity Surveying Manager.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to be an expert in: the management of monthly payment applications; the performance of detailed quantity remeasures; and effective change orders/variation management. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also be required to effectively negotiate with contractors on various topics, protecting Northvolt's interests in these negotiations.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will form part of the larger project controls team and to provide the data to inform the Project Controls Plan. This data includes, but is not limited to, providing inputs for installed quantities, agreed Change Orders, RCO's which may be converted to CO's, forecasted final contractor accounts and the remeasurement of key quantities.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with cost engineers and contract specialists and be the contractor's main point of contact for the day to day engagement related to the payment applications, quantities and change order management, and is therefore expected to site based.
