We are looking for a new manager to our Quality Control organisation who is confident as a leader and has a passion for both supporting business and people. QC is organised by focus areas and work in a high-digitalised environment using LIMS as system support. The department is responsible for method validation, instruments and systems, test specifications, methods and procedures. QC supports the whole value chain by taking part in regulatory matters and investigations as well as being part of project teams, customer meetings, and participate in audits both internal and external performed by authorities and costumers. Being a manufacturing site, QC is also responsible for routine analyses of raw materials, intermediates and peptide substances (API), stability studies and handling reference standards.
About you We believe that you are ready for a new and exciting challenge as a leader within Quality Control. You have several years of experience as a leader within the pharma industry and you know that business and people need to develop side by side. As a contract manufacturer within pharma, we combine quality with a strong customer focus where we commit to flexibility and ability to change. As a department manager, you will be responsible for a team of QC Specialist that are involved in many parts of our business and who are able to meet the high demands. You will have both a strategic and an operational focus and need to navigate your team in an environment that has a high tempo and is changeable. You enjoy to support and coach co-workers but are also able to challenge procedures and introduce alternative options. You have a way to see the whole picture, prioritize and structure work - to find a natural balance between strategic and operational assignments. Finally yet importantly, you are strong in communication, you meet rumors with facts and you can inspire and motivate your team to take the next step. Main duties: - Overall leadership responsibilities including budget- cGMP compliance responsible- Operational and strategic responsible to develop and improve QC - Setting and follow up of department plans and objectives in relation to customer requirements, production plans and overall company objectives and strategies

You need to have: - Minimum 5 years' experience within pharma industry - Minimum 3 years' experience within a quality function - Interest and experience in leading business and people - Excellent communications skills both in Swedish and English - Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Chemistry, or equal
