MacGregor is looking for a Manager, Purchasing.
In this role you will lead and develop the operational purchasing team in Merchant Solutions Division, Sourcing and Supply Chain. Your responsibility will be to ensure efficient operational purchasing, meeting the standards in quality, timing and reliability of supply.
The location of this position is optional. You can be located in Sweden, Finland, Germany or Poland and will report to the Sr. Manager, Purchasing.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Management of purchasing function in an efficient way to meet customer expectations
Drive harmonisation and development of processes and systems in compliance with the MacGregor integrated management system
Be responsible for all purchase orders issued
Approval of invoices for purchases according to MacGregor rules
Sourcing and approval of non-key new suppliers
Development of purchase systems
Responsible for the Purchase policy for the Division
Responsible for budget and cost control of the purchasing team.
As responsible for the purchasing team you will collaborate and maintain contact with all Business Lines activities regarding commercial matters.
What you'll need to succeed
Education:
M.Sc./B.Sc. in Engineering, commercial or equivalent knowledge from experience.
Experience:
Leadership / Project leader experience in an international matrix organisation
Familiar with the field of SAP, Purchasing and Logistic and process
Experience in purchasing and supplier negotiations
Experience from relevant business/product
International experience
Experience in practical purchasing tasks.
We are looking for someone who possesses good organisation and leadership abilities, capable of operating in a matrix organisation and manage diverse interests. You need to have a strong commercial sense, excellent negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of ERP systems, experience in change management. You are also fluent in English, both spoken and written.
