Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) is a part of Volvo IT and is a global organization within the Volvo Group providing telematics off-board services. Volvo Group Telematics enables & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery.
Volvo Group Telematics supports the Volvo Group whilst the WirelessCar brand is used to support external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment such as BMW and Audi.
Business and Project Management Office (BnPMO)
BnPMO secures project quality assurance and portfolio management of the complete VGT project pipeline including all projects, from internal development projects to Service development projects. The function also drives implementation and improvement of common Process and IT for VGT, supporting operational excellence in our business deliveries.
Manager Project Quality Assurance
As MPQA your mission is to secure the project quality assurance of VGT service development portfolio including the complete project portfolio, from early phases to ongoing projects. The scope includes all types of projects, from internal development projects to service development projects.
The Manager Project Quality Assurance reports to the Director Business and Project Management Office, Ola Dawidson and is a member of the BnPMO team
Main responsibilities:
• Pro-actively plan and drive quality assurance activities of VGT Service Development projects and internal change initiatives driven as IS-GDP projects
• Provide input and recommendation on project quality maturity for DMC decisions on project gate passage
• Participate in Volvo IT's delivery quality management network
• Act as coach and senior advisor supporting VGT project managers with input on how to run IS-GDP projects realizing telematics services, often in close collaboration with GTT on-board telematics
• Strategically analyze the performance of the service development project portfolio and provide input for improvement activities
• Support, evaluate and secure quality of the proposal work as input for new Service deliveries
• Act as senior advisor in leading and participating in key activities

The Manager Project Quality Assurance needs to have the ability to create a successful working climate with the service delivery projects.
As person, you have an innovative and analytical mind-set. You are structured and organized in your work applying a strong customer focus and a service-minded attitude. The profile we are looking for is self-driven and have the courage to challenge with both a combination of quality and business strategic mind-set. It is also an absolute demand that you are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish as well as English.
