hela Sverige Since one of our two production engineering managers is furthering her career in one of our factories in the United States, we are now looking for her replacement. As a manager for Production Engineering in the Trucks factory in Gothenburg, you will lead a team of around 15 super engaged engineers. You will be part of the engineering management team in Tuve with a wide and cross-functional responsibility. You like to challenge yourself in our high-intensity and result-oriented environment - but you are also curious about the future and to transform our plant. As a leader you are genuinely interested in people development and you like to succeed through others.
In this workplace, you can make a difference. It is actually a requirement to work here - you must want to improve everything for our organization, our employees and even yourself. Experience and / or education is a prerequisite, but attitude and your perseverance are crucial.
The Volvo Group is on a transformation journey towards sustainable transport where one part is electromobility solutions. The Tuve Plant located in Gothenburg is in the heart of Volvo Group and we are also the introduction factory for Volvo Heavy Duty Trucks.
Later this year we will industrialize the first Volvo HD (Heavy Duty) Electric Truck in the plant. The engineering function is really in the center of this transformation journey where we prepare product and processes together with our colleagues.
