What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Sourcing & Production is a division with approximately 500 employees included in Business Area Surveillance.
Production in Järfälla produces the electronic warfare and combat systems and C4I solutions part of the Surveillance portfolio and consists of six sections and approximately 190 employees.
One of Production in Järfälla's sections are Industrialisation, in which Production Engineering is included. Production Engineering consists of around 15 employees.
Your role
We are looking for a Manager for Production Engineering. A main part of the responsibility is to support Manufacturing operators and equipment on a daily basis.
Manager Production Engineering reports to Manager Industrialisation and is a part of the Industrialisation management team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing the skills and abilities of your employees and securing a good working environment within the unit.
Achieving good results for your area, which includes finances, quality, delivery capacity and effectiveness.
Leading in accordance with our organisational values
Translating our business area targets into clear targets for your own organisation.
Handling all the day-to-day decisions in the organisation.
Work closely together with Manufacturing, to secure demands in both directions.
Delivering and applying our production/Lean system.

We are looking for a person who has proven experience of design and/or manufacturing. Moreover you have a solid understanding of economical correlations, the ability to focus on keeping delivery times and you strive to achieve top quality.
You have the ability to communicate clear requirements to own and other operations, so that their responsibilities in delivering on time with the right quality will become clear.
You have proven ability to cooperate both within and outside the unit and across organisational boundaries and hierarchies.
You have strong business understanding, customer focus and skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions.
You have proven ability to make decisions to improve profitability.
You are a driven person with perseverance with the ability to generate energy.
You have the understanding and skills required to work effectively in an international environment and matrix organisation.
You have proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging the organisation, management teams and employees.
You have appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business oriented or technical discipline and you have excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
Leadership experience and a keen interest in Lean ways of working are important selection criteria and experience of planning and logistics is also desirable.
