hela Sverige Manager Production Engineering - Method Development
In the role as manager for the department Method Development you will be responsible to lead and develop the department as well as being an important part of the production engineering management team. The production engineering work is aiming both at daily support to our production departments and long term development of our production methods. Setting the standards for production is an important part of the engineering work. You will have an important contribution to our common goal to be perceived as the leading manufacturer of axles and transmissions.
The function consists of about 15 people. There is a big portion of cross functional work with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Leadership experience
Extensive experience from working with manufacturing engineering within the areas such as metal cutting and heat treatment.
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
Proficiency in English and Swedish is a must
We believe you have an academic degree in manufacturing engineering or similar and at least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience. We also see that you have experience from a management position, preferably from the automotive industry. You are a straight forward leader who value diversity and see people as the most important asset. You are good at motivating others and are willing to work hard in order to develop this plant in the direction of absolute world class.
