Manager Product Management is responsible for the overall strategic product planning that includes all Hägglunds hydraulic motors, accessories, Drive Units and control system, as well as the planning of the entire product life cycle based on market requirements. Other main tasks are to actively promote sales support and sales initiative on existing products as well as on new products and product launches.
In this position you will have a team of Product Managers, with their own product responsibility, reporting to you.
In your role as Manager Product Management you will have contact and coordinate with Country Units, Industry Sector Managers, Service, Logistic and our Technical departments. Regular interaction and exchange with our head office in Germany will also be an essential part of your responsibility.
Background
We believe that you have either a university degree in engineering or finance or experience as Product Manager. Good technical knowledge in hydraulics, preferable Hägglunds product portfolio, is desirable. Fluency in English is required since you are working in an international environment. Previous experience in a leadership position is preferable.
You should be customer oriented, take and drive initiative, be structured and solution oriented to achieve targets together with your team. Skills in communicating with people from differing cultures and the ability to inspire and convince internal colleagues as well as external contacts is also needed.
