hela Sverige Within Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we're passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we're looking for a confident, networking and customer-centric Manager Plant Solutions to continue our growth journey, drive change and lead us along a profitable path within the division of Stationary Crushing & Screening.
Our plant solutions business aims at adding maximum customer value by a strong project portfolio and by the design, setup and implementation of world-class crushing and screening plants at global customer sites.
This role is truly global and an exciting opportunity with complete ownership of the results and numbers, where you get to make a solid impact on our business development. You'll also be joining a place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
Are you eager to bring your business skills and can-do attitude, and gear up with us to shape the future of manufacturing? Then we really want you on board!
Your mission
In this position, you lead the development and management of our plant solutions business with a global and commercial outlook, and with full responsibility for profit and loss. By setting the overall vision, and establishing successful sales strategies and a strong activity agenda, you make sure we achieve our operative and strategic sales goals - from a sustainable, financial and performance perspective. Your work focus on delivering customized solutions, and you explore how to incorporate digitalization, equipment, and service agreements into the total scope. You manage a portfolio of projects where the agenda includes identifying and evaluating impacts, risks, opportunities, and best practices, and you actively follow up on cost control, revenue and compliance with applicable regulations and policies. You also review and monitor sales performance periodically, and refine sales strategies as required. With a profitable sales future in mind, you bring new product ideas and enhancements to existing ones, and you transform them into usable and marketable products based on our customer's needs.
You're an essential link towards our customers and major international engineering companies, and you lead a large project organization with team members mainly located in Svedala (Sweden) and Clichy (France). By transparency and coaching leadership, you inspire development, commitment, and performance, and you make sure that we have a competent and efficient organization well equipped to deliver major and complex projects in time, according to given cost and within specified scope and quality. On top of this, you collaborate closely with our marketing counterparts and nine global sales areas, as well as with other internal and external stakeholders to capture business opportunities that will drive true customer value and enhance our project portfolio and sales growth.
This position is based in the Svedala/Malmö (Sweden) area or alternatively in Clichy (France) and extensive international travel is normally included in your job.
Your character
We're looking for a business-minded leader with a university degree or professional experience related to the challenges included in this position, but more importantly, you need outstanding project management skills and extensive experience from managing change and delivering results. You have previously been working with business development, and you easily manage many various interfaces and global teams in a matrix, cross-functional organization. Your understanding of business drivers, sales and negotiations are highly beneficial. Another advantage is a broad interest in digitalization and new technology, and you enjoy exploring how digital solutions could be incorporated into our plant solutions environment. As we operate worldwide, you also need an open mind and cultural awareness, and you possess excellent communication skills in English.
You're curious, entrepreneurial, and outgoing, and at the same time strategic, organized and analytical. By combining these skills with a strong personal drive, you ensure success across our organization. You're not afraid of challenging us when you think it's necessary, and by building confidence in decisions, you influence the people around you and establish a positive change culture. Naturally, you know how to prioritize and make things happen, and as a skilled communicator, you bring clarity and efficiency into our strategy and processes.
