Manager II, Piping Engineer - WORLEY SWEDEN
The future for Worley Sweden is exciting, we are growing and new sustainability projects will be starting up.
We have an opening for a business-minded, development-focused, and experienced Manager for our piping, civil/structural function in our Sweden office - based in Kungälv or Stenungsund
The Role
You will lead a team of 20 engineering professionals within the piping, civil, and structural engineering disciplines.
You will be part of the extended management team in Sweden, report to the Manager of Engineering Sweden, and of course become well connected to the large project engineering community within Worley.
Key Accountabilities
Leadership
Be inclusive and inspire people and teams to develop.
Build confidence and capacity to deliver what matters.
Maintain and increase the trusted space to challenge and learn
Build a vision for the future together with the team and ensure the way to reach it
Business Operations
Collaboration and networking within the global Worley engineering community
Drive the digitalization roadmap for your discipline
Secure staffing of projects, both short- and long-term
Review and support your team to develop engineering documents, drawings specifications, and cost estimates.
Develop training and development plans for your team.
Business Development
Build relationships with customers and future employees.
Support in creating customer proposals.
Secure discipline capability addressing our customers' future requirements
You'll have:
Technical background and experience in piping, civil, or structural engineering.
Worked in a multi-discipline engineering organization.
Project execution experience within the EPCm/EPC project environment.
Leadership experience.
Engineering Degree from a university.
Fluency in English - merit also to speak Swedish.
