Arbetsuppgifter
The R&D Laboratory is a vital part of the R&D Department and the unit is responsible for product, material and preclinical testing. The R&D Laboratory is also responsible for method development and supports other functions within the company when there are specific needs to involve the Laboratory organization, both on a short and long term basis. The R&D Laboratory is involved in cross-functional projects as well as both internal and external activities.
Key Accountabilities
• Manages one of two teams forming the global center of excellence and know-how for physical testing
• Responsible for resources management, securing the right competence and skills of team members
• Main contact towards the product and business teams within the area of responsibility
• Securing that projects are staffed and have relevant equipment to support business objectives
• Ensures that physical tests and analyses are delivered in an efficient and timely manner to support business objectives.
• Secures development and implementation of new methods as prioritised.
• Contribute to the Strategy for the department.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Qualifications
• Relevant Master degree or Bachelor degree with equivalent working experience
• Leadership experience minimum 2 years from line and/or other leader positions
• Thorough understanding of laboratory work and physical testing
• Strong ability to coach and motivate co-workers
• Performance driven with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience from working in a cross disciplinary environment
• Knowledgeable within quality and regulatory requirements from a laboratory perspective
• Knowledgeable within statistical analysis
This is a full-time permanent position based in Gothenburg.
