We are looking for a Manager for the Package Sample Shop (PSS) who will be responsible for the operation of the PSS meeting current demands from various customers. You will also identify future global needs for samples and prototypes. Then you will standardize the samples to fit the needs and update their production and delivery methods.
Samples and Prototyping of packages is a critical service in our organisation to provide real look and feel package samples for internal and external customers. Internally the need is mostly from consumer package research projects, display needs from various show/product rooms and from prototyping new package shapes/features for our development organisations. The external customers needs arise from our sales process where customer designs or concepts shall be demonstrated on 'real' samples.
Main responsibilities
• Establish common standards for sample quality, cost, operations and delivery timing
• Implement efficient Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management
• Secure stakeholder agreement to implementation and timing plan
• Ensure accurate budget management and cost control
• Optimise order management system, including prioritization of requests, allocation of the right resources to each order
• Define & implement quality control and claim management procedures
• People Management - 3 FTEs and variable number of consultants (~15-20)
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have a high standard of keeping structure and schedule with ability to clearly communicate those to various team members. You are used to working in a small team, with direct reports and with outsourced flexible team members. You are a team player, capable of using informal authority to motivate people and to influence. Furthermore are you committed to get the job done and share the joy of success.
We believe you have Production management education. You have minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in small to medium production facility management and general project management It is essential that you have WCM experience, ideally certification. A project management certification is a benefit. You are proficient in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
