HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a business unit within ABB's Power Grids division located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.
Become a part of the dynamic team at HVDC where we design advanced electronics for use in industrial environments. You will lead a team that are responsible for designing current measuring devices, maintaining good reliability in our existing systems and supports with specialist competence in development projects.
Your responsibilities:
Managing a team of project engineers and senior technical specialists within the area of optical communication and digital current transducers.
The tasks of the team vary from:
Handling customer requirements in tenders & delivery projects
Product management and quality assurance
Laboratory testing and specialist support in R&D

Your background:
You are an experienced leader.
You have genuine technical interest and thrives in an environment of technical challenges.
Previous experience from optoelectronics and mechanical design and manufacturing.
Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in Swedish is beneficial.
