Could you envision yourself in leading an Operations Engineering team towards a change journey, working with an end to end approach from suppliers, through internal factories and to customers?

In DSO Capital Equipment Operations our main goal is to deliver Filling lines according to R&D product specification, fulfilling customers' expectations by supplying on requested delivery date defect free equipment, and so contributing to Vertical Start up during installation at customer site.

As Manager of the Operations Engineering team, with equipment internally tested and modules/equipment fully outsourced in scope, you will lead and develop a team responsible for:

• containing technical issues during equipment testing, both in external and internal production, so to grant deliveries on time and in quality to customers.
• contributing to defect free industrialization of equipment (Product Development and Product Life Cycle projects), driving the relevant supply chain readiness criteria, and securing their deliverables prior release to customer.
• adding value to our customer supporting customization of equipment, leading Final Test Participation with customers, focusing on breaking through and continuous improvement opportunities with an end to end view from product development to installation phase.
• developing the production systems (suppliers&internal production) focusing on integration and improvement of test and validation criteria, including equipment for simulation, with a full line and early management approach to the supply chain from supplier, through internal production, to customer.

The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires approximately 20% travelling.

Main responsibilities

• Secure competence and resource availability for customers and projects
• Be accountable for the end results of production (external and internal) towards customers
• Provide input for the planning and development of the production units contributing to the capital equipment production strategy
• Participate in factory management team, budget, target and capacity setting
• Drive the implementation and monitoring of the relevant performance indicators
• Drive the organization through Continuous Improvement mindset and approach
• Manage and develop direct reports

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have a passionate and people-oriented approach and a strong attitude in leading, engaging and motivating others; you have an energetic attitude to create a dynamic and positive work environment.

You are goal oriented with good change management skills and drive towards agreed directions. At the same time, you are cooperative and have strong communication and networking skills.

You are used to work in a complex organization and willing to challenge status quo to create effective ways of working by simplifying interactions cross boundaries, and by building cohesive working processes.

You have probably a Master or Bachelor in relevant technology area or equivalent and a comprehensive knowledge of project management; proven track record of leading people is required.

WCM methodology knowledge is preferred and you are skilled in English, both written and spoken.
