L4 Unit: RAN Verification & Environment
PEU RAN Performance is the R&D team that secures that Ericsson's maintains and gains RAN market share through world leading Network Performance, winning benchmark activities and recognized by operators as best performing network. The PEU has the R&D team that innovates new algorithms and features that display our deep understanding of mobile networks and extend our position as a Mobile Technology Leader.
We have design ownership for 5G BB SW products and is a global organization located mainly in Sweden, Canada, USA, Poland, and China.
RAN Verification & Environment sector is the Quality Assurance arm of PEU RP. RVE sector are accountable for Test management and Test strategy, RAN level System verification including Test Area Performance, Capacity, Traffic Functionality, as well as Test Environment Design and Provisioning for PEU RP.
About this role
Being part of the RAN Verification and Environment Sector LT, you will lead a high dedicated Developer team of 15 System verification professionals across in Kista. You will be accountable for:
Feature Specific System Verification (FSSV) and Legacy Uplift (LU) of Performance and Capacity area for all 5G RAN features
Legacy Assurance System Verification (LA) of Quality Area Performance and Capacity for 5G RAN releases
Line responsible for Test Area Performance
What you will do
Reporting to Head of RAN Verification & Environment, you will lead a section, a high dedicated Test manager organization. You will work closely with the RVE Head and all units therein, many units in PEU RP, in TSM and other PEU/FU in BNEW R&D to ensure that Test management and Test strategy is always at top notch.
You are developing, leading, and driving the section strategy in line with the PEU and Sector strategy. This also includes ensuring the overall competence, resource strategy, leadership, and viability.
You are expected to continuously scan the global eco-system exploring alternative technologies/products that can be coordinated into our ways of working rapidly growing output.
We expect you to have a broad approach, critical thinking and that you adopt collaboration and contribute with positive energy and work climate, as a leader in the RVE organization.
