Manager of Environmental Affairs
The Manager of Environmental Affairs will be responsible for organizing Husqvarna Group's environmental initiatives and related control systems, in line with Husqvarna's overall business strategies and as approved by Group Management.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following:
• Provide expert advice on environmental issues affecting products, facilities and production, as well as in relation to acquisitions.
• Make proposals to Sector Heads, Product Category leaders and others on environmental objectives, support, and use of resources to meet business objectives.
• Plan, develop, organize, coordinate, and execute studies and projects on environmental issues. Perform risk assessments of Husqvarna's business operations and activities, in order to optimize risks and minimize liability.
• Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance affecting business activities within areas such as energy saving, product life cycle analysis, as well as current and proposed legislation.
• Communicate and drive the implementation of the Group's global environmental policy. Conduct environmental corporate compliance reviews, monitor, audit and evaluate environmental policy and local programs.
• Monitor external legal, business, economic, and political factors potentially affecting environmental, health and safety legislation, as well as technical developments and emerging trends, which may impact Husqvarna's operating and financial performance.
• Maintain, update and improve Husqvarna's Environmental Database with data on facilities, sustainability and properties.
• Report on sustainability and environmental issues for the Group Annual Report
