You will be part of Mining in Umeå or Luleå. We are a business unit within ABB?s division Process Automation. Mining has approximately 60 coworkers and global technology responsibility for underground mines within ABB. In Sweden, our responsibility involves development and maintenance of our offer as well as delivery of projects within automation for both opencast and underground mines. The department for Mine Automation has responsibility for developing the business within the area of mine automation. The department?s head office is today in Umeå, but we also have colleagues in Luleå.
Challenge: As Manager for the department Mine Automation, you will be part of Mining?s management team and have an important role in the development of our offering. We are primarily focusing on the Swedish market, but also globally. You will have staff responsibility for a team of four coworkers and an important part of your work will be to ensure and develop the department?s unique competence. This will be achieved through an inspiring leadership, successful recruitments and continuous staff development. In addition, you will establish strong business relations with Swedish mining customers and work with other units within ABB. We offer you a challenging role in a fast-growing unit where you will have opportunities to make exciting travels all over the world.
Requirements: As a foundation you have a Technical degree, preferably with a major in Economy. Experience from the mining or process industry as well as training within automation is qualifying. It is also an advantage if you previously have worked within a large global business group. As you will be part of a broad international network, proficiency in written and spoken English is required. You are a goal-oriented, driven and responsive leader with the ability to motivate your coworkers.
