We're looking for a Manager to our Materials technology and Chemistry team within the Research and Development department at the Business Unit High Speed Separators (HSS) in Tumba.So, what are you going to do today?
Who you are
About the jobMaterials Technology & Chemistry is a specialist organization within the R&D with its own laboratory operated by skilled dedicated material and chemistry specialists providing high value contributions to Alfa Laval business.
As a manager for this group, your challenge is not only to lead your specialist it is also to create interaction with other specialists within R&D and the other functions in BU HSS .e.g. service, sales, purchasing and production. Your team is mainly serving the HSS business with its competencies but also in other Alfa Laval product groups.
The key responsibilities include:
Member of the R&D HSS management team
Lead a team of 11 specialist and 2 laboratory technicians that support to the organization with their technical specialist competencies.
Knowledge and testing of new and coming technology areas regarding material and manufacturing methods in order that Alfa Laval can have them introduced in future product development
Network and collaborations with Technology institute and Universities.
Secure availability of right competences and laboratory resources.
Collaboration with other R&D Technology and laboratory teams.

What you know
Master's degree or higher within material or chemistry.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
Previous merits in leadership.
