Manager Material Planning
Volvo Parts Logistics Eskilstuna ? Material Management is looking for a Manager for one Material Planning team (Procurement, Supplier Relations). You will manage a team of 16 Material Planners (Procurers) and report to Material Management site responsible in Eskilstuna.
Main responsibilities
Responsibility for the teams logistics results, balancing customer service with a cost efficient supply chain.
Be an active part in lifting our supplier relationship management to new levels
Together with European Functional owners
implement new processes and other working methods
drive continuous improvements
implement competence development plans
Recruitments, salary setting, competence development, personal development plan
Motivate your team members in their professional development and ability to utilize competence in line with business and personal strategy
Finance, accountable for budget
Your Profile:
As a person you are good at taking own initiatives and building efficient relations and networks with focus on customer service. You have leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively in an environment of multiple tasks with short deadlines.
Desired qualifications
Procurement / Material Planning and/or Purchasing experience is a benefit.
Leadership experience:
Have the courage and ability to communicate visions and objectives
Have capacity to execute towards set targets
Lead through Volvo Parts values and to create an attractive workplace
People management experience and have a genuine interest and capacity for developing people
Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal partners
Strong communication and social skills
University degree, preferably in logistics
Fluent Swedish and English
In this role you will be part of the management team for Material management Eskilstuna reporting employee and cost related issues to the Material manager Volvo Parts Logistics Eskilstuna and report KPI:s and process related issues to the Function owner Europe.
