About the Role
For a newly created role as Manager Manufacturing Excellence we now look for a new employee. You will report to the VP Operations Quarto Plate Degerfors and be a member of the local management team.
In our six "must win battles" we have defined Manufacturing Excellence as one of the cornerstones for reaching our vision 2020. The main task is to define a standard operating model for the plant to ensure continuous productivity improvements of >3 % year on year across the organization - to build a Lean culture to eliminate waste in all processes.
You will be responsible for:
• Managing improvement initiatives incl. project identification/decision.
• Implementation and coaching of projects, especially in regards to Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Ensuring the achievement of project goals in time and within budget.
• Collecting and tracking of projects progress of initiatives and projects towards the management.
• Implementation of internal trainings and workshops.
• Development of organization towards "Lean" thinking.
• Controlling of expectations of various stakeholders.
Our Candidate
You have a university degree in business or technology together with experience as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent, probably from the manufacturing industry. Furthermore, you have experience of sustainable, successful and efficient implementation of projects with cross functional teams and across different sites.
As a person, you have a high degree of customer focus and social skills. Your analytical ability and conceptional thinking is strong and you also have good communication skills. The position requires fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

This is a new role and your responsibility is to build your own function from scratch, implement lean culture into the business and ensure compliance with the methodology. The implementation of Manufacturing Excellence is a focus area for the corporate group. Therefore, you will have a great impact on the further development of the Quarto Plate business in Degerfors.
