About the role
We are looking for a driven and communicative leader for the position as Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Emerson to lead and develop the manufacturing engineering function with 13 direct reports. In this role, you will work closely with your team to ensure that production processes, test systems, and calibration methodologies are efficient, scalable, and robust. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence through technical leadership, process ownership, and people development while supporting the organization's continued growth and innovation journey. You will report to Director Operations and Supply Chain.
Key responsibilitiesDevelop and execute the long-term manufacturing engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
Identify and drive implementation of future-oriented manufacturing technologies such as automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 solutions
Partner closely with new product introduction teams to align manufacturing capabilities with future growth plans
Anticipate challenges related to capacity, cost, and compliance and proactively implement improvement strategies
Lead investment planning and manage capital expenditure initiatives with focus on business value and return on investment
Oversee manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process design with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and company policies
Lead, support, and develop manufacturing technicians to ensure timely and efficient shop-floor operations
Establish and support standardized ways of working and documented procedures across site teams and global factories
Act as business owner of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring strategic direction, system reliability and continuous enhancement
Own manufacturing test and calibration methodologies, infrastructure, and equipment lifecycle management
Set objectives, develop capabilities, and build a high-performing team through coaching and leadership

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of process ownership and cross-functional collaboration within manufacturing engineering or manufacturing technical leadership
Experience with MES systems, test development, and calibration processes
Strong people leadership, communication, and change management skills
