GVA is growing rapidly and as a result we are now seeking a Manager, Machinery & Utility.
The Ideal Candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:
• Minimum B.Sc in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
• Approximately 7+ years of relevant technical experience. Previous offshore industry experience is highly regarded.
• Good understanding of the Machinery & Utility field of technology.
• Proven track record of effectively leading, managing, engaging and influencing multicultural teams at a senior level, preferably in an international environment.
• High level projects-and team activities full cycle supervisory experience including a well developed understanding of project/team dynamics, challenges and opportunities.
• Sound commercial acumen with the ability to understand the correlation between the team?s responsibilities towards the overall business goals and plans.
• Experience from working on-site is an advantage.
• Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in English are required. Swedish and additional language skills are an advantage ( Ex Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese).
