MANAGER LOGISTICS SERVICES
Location: Getinge / Växjö
Job Purpose
As manager for the new central function Logistics Services you will be responsible for the business area's external logistics operations, aiming at optimized cost, availability and delivery service.
Job description
You will be part of the management team for Global Logistics, reporting to the Global Logistics Manager. The role includes:
• Overall operational responsibility for Logistics Services' operations
• Full P&L responsibility
• Responsible for 6 direct reports and any temporary personnel
• Development of the newly created organization and process development of all areas related to the daily operations
• Logistics management system owner
• Responsibility for tender management related to the operations and support and liaisons with colleagues globally to achieve optimal transportation agreements
• General logistics development support for Global Logistics manager
• Tactical supplier development and performance monitoring
Qualification
You have a strong personal drive and willingness to achieve, along with an excellent track record from change management and/or multinational improvement projects. You are able to demonstrate an ability to lead and development the operations and the newly established team of direct reports. You have a university degree in engineering and/or business logistics, and several years of experience from logistics and supply chain management and commercial tenders in this field.
A prerequisite for this position is an ability to communicate and solve problems efficiently together with carriers and internal stakeholders all over Europe. Hence, a strong command of the Swedish and English languages is necessary, and fluency in French or other European languages is of added value.
