We are seeking an experienced LIMS Manager to join our global IT team at Olink in Uppsala, a fast-growing company in the life science industry. The LIMS Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of LIMS professionals and ensuring that the company's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is properly maintained and used by all relevant departments.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead, coach and develop a team of LIMS professionals
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the LIMS system
• Work with relevant departments to identify and address any issues or challenges with the LIMS
• Provide training for employees on the use of the LIMS system
• Ensure that the LIMS system is being used in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with the global IT team and other relevant departments to identify and implement improvements to the LIMS system
• Contribute to the growth and success of the company by driving innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications / Skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. life science, IT), or similar knowledge
•
5+ Years of experience in LIMS management or a related field, including experience leading a team
• Excellent communication and people skills, including the ability to lead, coach and motivate a small team
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with various stakeholders in a international fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent in Swedish and English
Merited:
• Knowledge of GxP regulations and life science principle
• Experience in working in a manufacturing or process industry
• Knowledge of business intelligence, SQL and/or relevant programming language
• Experience in working with Labware
• Experience in working with a document system and UAT/SAP protocols
The ideal candidate will have a background in life science and understanding of GxP (Good Manufacturing Practices), as well as excellent people skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
