Manager Last Mile Logistic Operations
Lynk & Co's business model is a B2C direct sales model without a dealership network handling the sales and distribution to the end customer. This poses many challenges and opportunities to the logistics team. We are now looking for the person who will be responsible for establishing and managing the service solution and operations for delivery and handling vehicles to the end customer.
This will include to develop and implement the logistic services strategies, processes, policies and routines, as well as implementing the service and supplier network and monitoring logistic KPI's and drive improvements to assure competitiveness.
The position combines both business development and operations; to start with a more conceptual role, gradually transferring to become more operational.
You will report to the Director Logistic Operations, Lynk & Co International, and be based in Gothenburg, with a European responsibility, therefore, some travel will be required.
In the future, with the operations growing in volume and locations across Europe, we will build up a team in Sweden and other locations. This means that this role will eventually manage the Last Mile Logistics team, with regards to recruiting and operations.

• Develop strategic direction for Last Mile Logistics operations
• Analyze suppliers and contracts requirement for sourcing of logistic services
• Develop and manage local flows and network implementation of supplier and services
• Develop and manage key processes for transportation to delivery to end point
• Manage the Last Mile Services based on regional/local requirements and prioritization
• Develop and manage supporting Last Mile Logistics systems
• Continuously improve and implement cost efficient distribution solutions
• Define logistic requirements in new product and services projects
To be able to be successful in this role we believe that you have:
• A University degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics or MBA within logistics
• Several years of experience within logistics and/or service industry, preferably connected to the automotive industry
• Experience from Business development and/or leading Logistics projects.
• Experience from geographically diverse cross functional collaboration
• Fluency in English - both oral and written
• Ability to travel
But experience is not everything to succeed in this role. You also need to have a creative mind-set and a passion to develop new areas and come up with innovative ideas and solutions. We believe you are a person that inspires actions - that challenge and foster creativity and innovation and drive continuous improvements.
Furthermore, you have project management skills, with an ability to handle several projects concurrently, and excellent communication skills.
We are a start-up, with the possibility and challenges that comes with that. In practice it means you need to be a driven problem solver, a person that takes initiatives and, since things can change quickly here, you can handle and quickly respond to changing priorities.
