WHAT WILL YOU DO? We're a small team (currently four) responsible for corporate governance and for implementing and maintaining internal control at Axis. We're at the end of the implementation phase for internal control and have recently started to monitor and test the framework. We need someone to own the planning and the testing processes, someone who can also dig in and perform testing him- or herself. Most of the reporting is internal, but the major entities are in scope for Sarbanes Oxley via our main shareholder Canon Inc.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, review, perform and report management testing and internal control assessments
Track remediation status
Design, implement and document key controls and business processes
Identify and implement business process improvements
Provide support and training to the organization on questions relating to internal control
The position requires travelling up to 30 days per year. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You have a University degree in Finance or Accounting. At least 8 years of experience from Internal Control, External Audit or similar is a demand. Your Communication and argument skills are good and your English is fluent. Experience from implementation and monitoring of IT General Controls is desirable. As a person you have an aptitude for structuring of information and capacity of managing several projects/deadlines at the same time in a structured way. You are also able to work independently and proactively with limited supervision. WHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU?
