Internal Communications is part of the Corporate Communication department at Public Affairs, Volvo Car Corporation.
The Internal Communication team is responsible for developing the internal communications to make all employees aware of the business objectives and the company operations.
The position reports to Senior Manager Internal Communication
Main responsibilities:
To secure an integrated and aligned communication within VCC via unit communications managers
To lead the communication network and plan regular coordination meetings with all unit communication managers
To support with communication planning in corporate projects
To plan and execute communication training for managers, mainly through ITM (Introduction To Management) in cooperation with HR
To publish organisation bulletins at VCC Intranet
To be main contact in regards of bulk mails to VCC employees globally
To create and secure updated guidelines for all VCC internal communication channels
Qualifications:
University education or similar
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
Volvo brand knowledge and good knowledge of the automotive industry
Experience from communication planning of corporate projects
Excellent sense of news evaluation and treatment of facts and figures.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Positive mindset and high integrity
Excellent computer skills
Structured and well organized
