Your Mission
Epiroc IT's mission is to ensure Epiroc's success by providing the right IT solutions, platforms, and services. As our Manager of Infrastructure, your mission is to be an active driver in our tech transformation. You will provide strategic leadership to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of Epiroc's IT infrastructure. This includes future-proofing our ability to meet continuously changing business needs.
Job description
Our Infrastructure team comprises three key areas: Network Operations & Delivery, Hosting, and Desktop Management, led by approximately 80 experienced specialists. Operating across global time zones, we support Epiroc's vital processes in 340 locations.

As our Infrastructure Manager, you will lead a high-performing IT team, develop a forward-thinking infrastructure strategy, manage disaster recovery and business continuity, optimize resource allocation, and promote innovation. You'll represent Epiroc IT and Infrastructure in councils and steering committees, actively participating in the Epiroc IT Management team. This role operates in a global context, fostering a multicultural and intercultural working environment.
Your Profile
You have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and are proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage. We are looking for candidates with proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 6 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of network architecture, server administration, and storage solutions is essential. Proficiency in cloud technologies and virtualization (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware) is expected, and experience with the cloud journey of another large global company is a significant plus.
This role requires extensive collaboration, both internally and externally, making good interpersonal and communication skills a prerequisite for success. You should be a natural leader, committed to coaching and nurturing people's growth. Being structured and organized are also key skills needed for this role.
Location and Travel
This position is preferably located in Örebro, Stockholm, Prague, or Johannesburg. Occasional travel may be required for this role. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, local terms and conditions will apply.
