The Husqvarna Group is the world's largest producer of outdoor power products including chainsaws, trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tractors. We need to reinforce our IT-organization with a Manager for the Information Management Solutions Team.
Global Information Services
GIS (Global Information Services), the IS/IT department of Husqvarna AB is responsible for the delivery of IS/IT services throughout the group. The organization is based in three major hub sites, Huskvarna, Charlotte N.C and Shanghai.
The GIS Business Solutions (BS) department is mainly accountable for availability of business solutions. The Business Solutions department ensures that Group IT's projects are delivered in a common gated process on time, to budget and cost effectively. BS is the Single point of contact for Applications. Business Solutions is divided in four teams, Project Office, Information Management Solutions, Solution Services EU/APAC and Solutions Services Americas.
The IMS (Information Management Solutions) team will be responsible to:
• Provide a global data warehouse environment with high quality data and support the business with BI applications, reporting tools and ad-hoc reports that will enable the business to make fact based decision on accurate information.
• Provide Master Data Management solutions to share, control and secure global data about entities such as products, customers and suppliers across the group.
• Integrate applications and information flows across the Husqvarna group in order to enable harmonized business processes
You will be the Manager of Information Management Solutions within GIS. In full operation the Manager of IMS will manage 8-12 employees. In addition, a flexible number of consultants are engaged in deliveries under the responsibility of the IMS function.
The successful applicant will be an experienced leader with a solid interest in developing the organisation as well as the individuals in the IMS team. The team has a vital role within GIS with multiple stakeholders and high involvement in most of the ongoing IS/IT projects within the group.
You are expected to gain a broad understanding in different dimensions such as Husqvarna Business Processes, Application Landscape, Information Model, Information Flows and Reporting Needs.
We seek you who match our preferred qualifications:
• Higher Education Degree or equivalent (Business or Information Systems)
• Experience in leading people, including line management, across geographies
• Solid understanding of practical implementation and maintenance of solutions used globally in the Information Management domain
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English
