What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
You will be a part of Business Unit Combat Systems and C4I Solutions (C2S), which supplies world-leading Command and Control systems, product and services to the armed forces. We operate globally with local sites in Sweden, Australia and South Africa. Business Unit Combat Systems and C4I Solutions (C2S) is building a new organization, which aims to give a stronger focus on our global business where our products are in focus.
We are now looking for a Manager Technical Publications and Integrated Logistics Support to drive technical publications & ILS in C2S to the next level and support building the culture of one C2S.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Operations Sweden and C2S will have the best Tech Pubs and ILS competence possible now and for future challenges.
You will report to Head of Competence & Teams at Operations Sweden.
Your role
The position is based in Järfälla, Sweden and travel is sometimes required, mainly to local sites in Gothenburg, Luleå and Karlskrona.
More specifically, the role include responsibility for:- Strategic and operational TechPubs & ILS competence development in both people and team dimensions- Provision of teams and TechPubs & ILS competence to OPSE projects/programs as well as Emerging Operations, Customer Support, Products & Strategy and Business Excellence- Coaching of teams and individuals- Identification of cross domain, cross product and cross section collaborations- Education and stimulation in use of best practice in all disciplines (agile etc.)- Work environment responsibility for own staff- Cost center budget and result
To be successful in this role, we expect you to demonstrate very strong collaboration-, leadership- andchange management skills. You must have the ability to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a person with strong coaching ability and Technical publication- and/or ILS background. We value experience from team coaching, change management and leadership.
You have in-depth knowledge of development of technical publications and/or integrated logistics support. You have experience from coaching agile teams in complex environments. You have a professional network with universities, consultancy firms and research institutions.
As we act in a global environment you must communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. You possess the willingness and proven ability to act as a change agent and proactively challenge the organization.
Your personality is characterized by a coaching attitude and a prestigeless willingness to succeed at all times.
This position includes access to classified information, therefore you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
