Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production.
We are now looking for a Manager for the "Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) & Thermal Management Systems" team within the Powertrain & Chassis organization.
Description
The HVAC & Thermal Management Systems team, that you will be responsible for, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will lead a team of Engineers, with your primary responsibility for the entire development cycle that concerns systems and components in the HVAC & Thermal Management area, including integration and verification of these in the vehicle. During the execution of this development, your team will heavily interact with other departments, suppliers, and also R&D partners, often in an international setting.
Your position will complement existing skills and resources, and you will be reporting to the to the Director Powertrain & Chassis.
The role as Manager for HVAC & Thermal Systems involves:
• Lead, coordinate and inspire the HVAC & Thermal Management Systems team in their daily work.
• Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area of HVAC & Thermal Management Systems.
• Leading predevelopment activities that concern HVAC & Thermal Management Systems.
• Supporting ongoing vehicle projects during the entire development phase.
• Responsible for verification and validation activities
• Responsible for resource planning and prioritization
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineering experience from development in relevant area, minimum 5 years
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver license B

• have excellent Automotive industry knowledge.
• have the ability to plan and prioritize.
