As MANAGER HR SERVICE DELIVERY we want you to be a manager with a global mindset and passion for customer service for the Local HR Service Delivery team. We are looking for a great leader to join our team and play a key role in the development of HR!
HR Service Delivery is part of HR Operations within HR. HR Service Delivery is responsible for ensuring excellent daily delivery of the HR processes and projects including recruitment services, learning activities, Global People Survey, Merit Review etc. Our present scope is mainly Sweden but we are planning for global support starting 2013. The HR Service Delivery area in Volvo Car Corporation will consist of two teams, Central HR Service Delivery and Local HR Service Delivery. The central team exists today and is part of HR Operations. You will be responsible for establishing and developing the local teams. There will be local teams at different geographically locations that will work closely with the local Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) and Line Management.
Your role will focus on customer service, delivery, leadership and strategy. These are all important core elements in your role of supporting our business globally. You are expected to build an engaged team with customer satisfaction at its heart. The Manager of Local HR Service Delivery reports to the Vice President of HR Operations and is a member of the HR Operations Management Team.
Job profile:
• Develop the Local HR Service Delivery function to provide world-class services to internal customers on a global basis
• Develop roles, responsibilities and the team structure in such a way that you can be flexible around your deliverables
• Ensure great local delivery of the HR processes, projects and annual HR deliverables: such as Merit Review, Compensation Planning, Internal Recruitment, HR Transactions and Competence Development etc
• Ensure great communication, implementation and follow up on new projects and initiatives transferred from the HR Centre of Expertise areas or HRBP
• Develop, coach and guide your employees to ensure they have the right prerequisites and competence to contribute in a great way to the goals
• Ensure successful co-operation internally within HR Operations in particular with the Central HR Service Delivery team, HR Center of Expertise and HRBP and also with all other relevant interfaces and suppliers
• Participate in Customer meetings on a regular basis to understand business needs, decide on priorities and get feedback on the service provided
• Follow up on customer feedback and team performance in a structured way and use the input for improving quality of services further
Your profile:
• University degree in relevant fields or equivalent expertise
• Experience from working with HR processes and from working cross-functionally
• Proven success from leading teams or deep knowledge in team and leadership impact
• Experience from leading major change initiatives
• At least 5 years working experience in an international environment
• Strong ability to organise, structure, plan and get things done
• Customer orientation with a creative mindset to solve problems
• Strong leadership skills with high personal energy and integrity
• Excellent English communication skills verbally and in writing
