What we offer?

We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles. We are the core competence centre in Northern Europe in regards to Lithium Ion technology and automotive battery systems.

The company target is to electrify 10% of the cars in 2020 and to have 1 million electrified cars on the road in 2025. The rapidly advancing battery technology is the main enabler to reach that goal and our journey has just begun! We are growing rapidly and have now created a new group in the section Traction Battery Hardware. Are you up for a challenge? Then the role as group manager of Traction Battery Hardware Testing is the place for you to prosper!

What you will do.

You will be the line manager for the agile team HW testing. The team is responsible for HW testing on traction batteries including analyses of the results. These are tests within the structural, thermal, electrical, EMC and electro-chemical fields. You will secure that validations are performed in the increasing number of battery electric and hybrid vehicle projects. You will also need to have a close cooperation with our new battery lab.

Together with the section Traction Battery Controls & Calibration we form the Traction Battery Agile Release Train (ART) and are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles. The ART covers the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software.


You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owners and System Architects in order to safeguard long-term technical strategies. You will work proactively with competence development to assure the right competence to be able to meet the set strategies. You will also guide and coach in the agile development process.

Do you fit the profile?

You have experience in leading hardware testing of vehicle systems as well as CAE. You are an experienced team leader and have a genuine interest in motivating, coaching and developing team members. You are structured and used to create the best settings for your team to be able to perform their best.

You have a technical education and if you have experience in agile ways of working such as SAFe, it is consider a benefit. You will strongly contribute to our transition into a new technology area and our way of working with SAFe methodology. You have an inner drive that you like to share with others, and record of accomplishment of implementing change with success!

In order to enjoy the role you have the ability to see the big picture, you like to contribute to the result by thinking conceptually and always with the customer satisfaction in mind. To be successful you need to be a great communicator who appreciate cooperation and have the ability to build and maintain contacts.
