hela Sverige We are looking for a talented person with excellent networking skills as the Global Supplier Recovery function is working in close cooperation with product maintenance teams, purchasing and supplier development, the sales regions, technical support teams and global warranty.
Since the global supplier recovery process and the return material process interact and has an effect on other functions and processes within product support area, the drive for continuous improvements in the function and process is a central task as well as managing capacity and competence growth.
Global Supplier Recovery function consist of 15 employees and is present in US, Korea, India, China and Sweden and has a pure global activity field with multiple interactions inside as well as outside the company.
Purpose of the job
You will in this position own and develop the global supplier recovery process within Volvo CE for warranty. In the role you manage and drive supplier recovery towards our suppliers in order to recover cost caused by poor quality and by that demonstrate an incentive for quality improvement for the supplier.
Currently we are working actively with approx. 150 suppliers based on warranty cost. The return material process; managing parts return from field for warranty recovery, audits and technical analysis purposes lies also within the responsibility of the Manager for Global recovery.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Manage and develop the Supplier Recovery process and the return material process
• Drive supplier recovery (approx. 100MSEK per year)
• Owner of the KPI Recovery out put
• Drive for efficiency and continuous improvements in the entire recovery process.
• Managing capacity and competence growth in the function.
• Partner with relevant stakeholders within Volvo CE and the Volvo Group as well as external suppliers.
Skills & experience:
• Strong leadership and communication skills in combination with creativity drive and target orientation.
• Change management skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• All Volvo CE key skills for "leading people".
Personal qualifications:
• MSc, MBA or equivalent
• Fluent in English written as well as spoken
• Frequent travel
• Strong skills in writing reports and other documents
• Experience from working in a global organization with different cultures
