Our department Energy Economics is looking for a new manager for our Forward Optimization team. Main objective for the team is to trade and optimize our forward gas and power positions. Energy Economics is EON Nordic's wholesale energy trading, optimization and portfolio management team. This is a unit with a clear ambition to excel in what we do and now we going to excel in green energy. We offer you the chance to shape and develop our business and EON's future.
Main responsibilities:
Lead your team of traders, optimizers and analysts
Challenge and develop the front-to-end business model from customer to settlement
Be proactive in customer interfaces and develop new products
Change the business model to fit a digital future
Implement new ways of working to develop your team and lead a cultural change
Make sure PnL-targets and KPI:s are fulfilled
Be part of the Energy Economics management team

To thrive and be successful in the role we think that you have a Financial or Technical University degree - or adequate, experience from Nordic or European physical energy markets is meriting. It is favorable if you have experience or are curious about algorithmic trading and robotics and other similar tools.
