The operation of Volvo Bil is sale of new and used cars, car rental, service and repairs, direct service of sheet and paintwork, car parts, fuel and car wash. Volvo Bil operate as a car dealer. The customers of Volvo Bil is mainly Volvo Car Group and Volvo Group and their employees.
The turnover of Volvo Bil is 3.500 MSEK and the number of employees is about 300. The operation take place in three different plants in Göteborg; Lundby, Tuve and Volvo City.
Business
Are you passionate about leadership and creating business value? Do you want to lead people and drive further improvements in our daily business? We are now looking for a person to take on the leadership for our Body and Paint shop at Volvo Bil Tuve. The position reports directly to the Service Market Manager at Volvo Bil Tuve and are an important part of the Volvo Bil Service Market management team. You are responsible for the entire business within this department and have approximately 35 employees who report directly to you, which two of them are managers. We are looking for great commitment and willingness to create business and develop the staff as well as attract new employees to our department.
Volvo Bil Tuve also consists of a service workshop, tire center, car wash and fuel station. Today we are about 100 employees working at Volvo Bil Tuve. The goal is to offer the customer a carefree car ownership.
Main responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for securing successful delivery of the different complex areas within the department
* Work closely with different areas of the organization to successful capture and deliver upon need and expectations
* You are a part of Volvo Bil Service Market management team and are expected to actively contribute in driving change and improvement activities
* You manage both strategic discussion, tactical and operational project deliveries, and successfully motivate the team
* Drive facility related projects including budget and follow up of financial results
* Act as a true ambassador for Volvo Bil both internal and external
Qualifications
* Experience from managerial positions
* Great business acumen
* Strong ability to clearly articulate concepts and ideas both orally and written
* Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
* Driving license
* Broad experience from car industry is meritorious
* Solid experience from working in complex projects is meritorious
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in business, economics or similar is meritorious
* Good knowledge in Tacdis, Vida, Cabas, cabplan and Windows based applications is meritorious
