Digital security has always been a high priority - in 2021 Sandvik Group launched the Cyber Security Program. Since then, we have done continuous work to improve the security level in our manufacturing units by focusing on Operational Technology (OT) Security.
We're now looking for a Manager for Security within Operational Technology and infrastructure Management to be a part of this new organization at Sandvik Coromant and to work with Operational Technology and infrastructure with a security focus. About the job
You manage a global team who has a strategic and tactical responsibility for the Coromant Production IT. Furthermore, this role manages a small operational team in Gimo, the flagship site for our production in Sweden. There is a dotted line to all our Production Units (PU) worldwide where you have the responsibility of establishing the necessary networks, contacts and forums to create awareness worldwide for the mandatory requirements within the area. Other areas of responsibility are to improve forums and ways of working within the operational technology area across Coromant, as well as presenting and conveying concrete information regarding OT to different management teams. Internal stakeholders for this role are other OT security teams within Sandvik Group.
This role can be facilitated from any of our Coromant sites in Europe and occasional, international travel is included.
About you
We're looking for a manager with in-depth knowledge and an understanding of OT Security (Purdue model) and Infrastructure management (capabilities for manufacturing), preferably taking inspiration from your previous work in a global organization and/or environment. You have worked within production or manufacturing and your experience is backed by a relevant academic degree. You've gained a solid understanding of production, IT and automation connected to the industry. At Sandvik Coromant, we act on a global scene, and you need to be fluent in English and confident speaking and writing professionally.
Although your experience is important, your personal qualities are equally key in this role - characterized by great social competence and a sincere leadership focus. You demonstrate great communications skills and have a way of working that focuses on collaboration and working together to drive the business forward. You have a drive to find new ways of working and inspiring your stakeholders to do the same. You influence all stakeholders to think from different perspectives and use your excellent communication skills to get people in the loop.
