We are now looking for a Manager for Global Production Methods, Tools to be responsible for machine and method development, including methods and systems development within the CAM and CMM areas, for Sandvik Coromant's Tools Production. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to play an important role in our company by actively taking part in developing our Production Units and thereby setting the standard for the future.
Key performance areas
The industry in which we operate is quickly becoming more digitalized and automated, often referred to as Industry 4.0. In this role, you play a big part in developing our production towards this future position with responsibility for our yearly budget regarding cost, personnel and projects. Maintaining and developing our standard machines, as well as our CAM and CMM environment, is also part of your role, as is supporting and guiding our PUs when it comes to investments and methods development. Additionally, you also coordinate activities within and between our production units, and lead studies and projects within the Tools product area with regard to investment activities.
You report to the Director of Production Technology, Tools Production.
We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and a degree within mechanical engineering, production, production technology, logistics or economics. You have at least five years of experience from production engineering or logistics. It is advantageous if you have experience from a leadership position, preferably from the manufacturing industry, and, lastly, as we operate on the global stage, we require that your verbal and written English skills are advanced, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
